Terms of service

These Terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us") for using ReelNyx at reelnyx.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, or use it with a parent's or guardian's permission and never under 13. If you use it for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you think someone else has access. One person per account; don't share or resell accounts.

3. Plans and credits

  • Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Prices, credits per plan and credit costs are shown on the pricing page and before each action; we may change them for future billing periods with notice.
  • Credits are used to make and edit videos. The price of an action is shown before you start it.
  • If a scene or a whole video fails on our side, we return the credits for the part that failed, automatically.
  • Plan credits unused at the end of a billing period roll over for [one] period (subject to any cap shown on the pricing page); older plan credits expire. Purchased credit packs do not expire while your account is open.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are lost if your account is closed for breaking these Terms. Refunds of money are covered by our Refund Policy.
  • Taxes are added where required.

4. Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you put in (topics, scripts, uploads) and, as between you and us, of the videos the Service makes for you, as far as the law allows. You give us a licence to host, process and show your content only to run the Service for you (including sending it to our AI providers and to platforms you ask us to publish to).
  • AI-generated content may not be protectable by copyright in some countries, and similar output may be produced for other users. We don't promise that output is unique.
  • You are responsible for what you create and publish, and for having the rights to anything you upload (for example a person's photo used as a character reference: you need their permission).

Characters and real people

Characters keep a person or figure consistent across scenes. If a character is based on a photo of a real person:

  • You may upload only yourself, or someone who has given you explicit permission to use their face in AI videos.
  • Don't upload public figures, celebrities or politicians, and never anyone under 18.
  • Don't make a real person appear to say, do or endorse something they didn't, and don't use it to mislead anyone.
  • When you upload, you confirm this permission. We may ask for proof, remove characters and videos, and close accounts that break these rules. Report misuse to [SUPPORT EMAIL]; we act on valid reports, including from the person shown.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to create or publish content that: is illegal; sexualises minors; is non-consensual intimate imagery; impersonates a real person in a misleading way or deceives people with deepfakes; harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hate; infringes others' rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, likeness); is spam, malware or fraud; or breaks the rules of the platform you publish to. Don't try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, get around credit or plan limits, or resell access. We may refuse prompts, remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where required, label AI-generated content when you publish it (some platforms require this).

6. Publishing to other platforms

If you connect YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or another platform, you authorise us to post the videos you schedule, with the settings you choose. Their terms also apply. We are not responsible for their decisions (removals, strikes, monetisation). You can disconnect at any time.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI models and features may change or be replaced. We may change the Service and these Terms; for material changes we will notify you in advance, and continuing to use the Service means you accept them.

8. Cancelling and closing accounts

You can cancel your plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts for breaches of these Terms, non-payment or legal reasons.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service and its output are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party makes a claim because of content you created, uploaded or published through the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/STATE]; courts of [CITY] have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to sue in your home country.
