Delete your account

You can delete your ReelNyx account, and the data in it, whenever you like. This page explains how, including what to do if you can no longer sign in.

In the app

  1. Sign in to ReelNyx and open the account menu, then Account.
  2. In the Delete account section, type DELETE.
  3. Press Email me a confirmation code, then enter the 6-digit code we send to your account email.
  4. Press Permanently delete my account. You are signed out at once.

Without signing in

If you cannot sign in, email us from the address of your account and say you want it deleted. We will ask you to confirm from that same address, then delete the account.

What is deleted

  • Your videos, scenes, versions, scripts and every image, voice-over, caption and file we made for them.
  • Your characters, reference photos and series.
  • Your connected publishing accounts (we ask the platform to revoke access where it lets us) and your scheduled posts.
  • Your sign-in sessions, notifications and activity records.
  • Your name, picture, email address and Google sign-in link.

What we keep, and why

Tax and accounting law requires us to keep payment, refund, credit and subscription records. We keep them without your name or email address, linked only to an anonymous number. Our payment partner Paddle is the merchant of record and keeps its own records of your purchases under its own policy.

How long it takes

Usually a few minutes, and always within 30 days. Any subscription is cancelled straight away without an automatic refund; our refund policy still applies if you ask. We email you when it is finished. Backups clear within the period in our privacy policy.

You can sign up again with the same email later. It will be a brand-new account with no credits or videos carried over.
